Sunset and moonrise are especially beautiful in the wetlands.  This time of year the sun is setting a bit earlier, and the light is golden and marvelous.  September is a perfect time - still warm but with a hint of breeze that fortells cooler weather to come.

We'll meet at the Bayou Coquille trailhead and walk quietly either to the Marsh Overlook trail or the Palmetto trail. Either way we'll have a beautiful view of sunset and moonrise, weather cooperating. Bring water and insect repellent and a snack for afterwards if you like.
