Are you overwhelmed with big shifts in your life? Does it seem like the world around you is falling apart?  Do you feel stuck, struggling to make the changes that your soul desires but your mind and body resist?

Do you wish for calm and reassurance and time to regroup and recharge? Would you like to reconnect to your personal wisdom surrounded by the beauty of nature?

Would you like to commit to a more aligned life, in fellowship with other wise women?  Do you long to spend time with others who value outdoor experiences and connection with plants and animals?

Are you craving a break to simply be, without the buzz of technology and the pressure of consumption?  Is the 24 hour news cycle sapping your energy?

If so, this retreat is for you.

Come spend time with us and unplug. Ground back into your own power and wisdom.

Join certified coaches Leslie Vanderpool and Carla Robertson for The Beauty of a Wild Life, a gentle de-stressing weekend in nature at a quiet park near Smithville, Texas. Easy access to Austin, and not far from Houston and surrounding areas.

We will help you notice the lovely details you’ve been overlooking in your own life and in the world. Give yourself time to slow down and deeply experience the wild beauty around you.

Embrace the magic and surprises that always come with being in nature. Nature has wisdom and messages for each of us- all we need to do is slow down, become present and receive.

You’ll leave with a new perspective and easy tools to bring more serenity and wildness into your daily life. You’ll feel realigned to your deeper purpose and better connected with like-minded women with whom you can continue your journey.

Choose your level of wildness - camp with us at Buescher State Park overlooking a serene lake, or if you prefer, book your own lodging at an adorable B&B in nearby Smithville, just four miles away.

Buescher State Park is a tucked-away gem.  Recent fires nearby have created a landscape rich in metaphor, and we can explore there along with trails and lake edges untouched by fire.  Nature will teach us about rebuilding after destruction and about the cycles that we return to over and over.

Retreat $195 includes:

Friday evening snacks, libations and campfire ceremony, s'mores and more
Saturday experiences - early morning meditation walk, tracking the wild within and without workshop, woodland fairy mandalas, canoeing, writing in nature, guided visioning, night magic walk
Sunday morning reflection and wild beauty workshop

and more- we promise an experience that will feel relaxing, refreshing, reconnecting and transformative.  No overloading, no pressure, simply ease of discovery in beauty.

You’ll provide the meals you love - cook out, bring ready-made food, or eat in town. Grocery store and restaurants very close by in Smithville.  We will have snacks and treats and hot chocolate, tea and coffee.  Even if you’re staying in Smithville, bring a mug for hot drinks! Bring a camp chair too.  Participants will receive more details and a packing list, and we'll host a Q&A call before the retreat.

Add $25 if you camp with us in a multiple campsite setting by the lake. Campers bring a tent and sleeping bag/pad or check with the group for sharing possibilities.

Prefer to have a bed and a roof? Reserve your lodging of choice in nearby Smithville, an adorable small town that has been the set of many movies including Hope Floats.  Bastrop, TX is also nearby.
