Dreaming of Paris? We are too!
And we have created a lovely retreat just for you!
What do you really want to live a beautiful, meaningful life? You want to invest time to achieve your dreams while also caring for the impact of those dreams on the world around you.
As you become more aware, grateful and awake, living a meaningful existence increasingly becomes about the experiences you have instead of the objects you own.
What if in 2019 you reached for your dream and came with Carla and Melanie to Paris for a week of magical experiences in the City of Lights?
We invite you to join us in June for a week long retreat that we’ve lovingly named Peaceful in Paris or Trouve le calme dans Paris.
Many Parisians might argue that finding peace in Paris is as elusive as finding peace in any big city, but as Melanie (our own tour guide and native Parisian) and Carla (our favorite life coach) will show you, peace can be had anywhere and anytime as long as we look for it.
We have curated a treasure trove of experiences that are sure to allow peace to flow throughout your trip and into your memories for years to come if you choose to retreat with us.
Come and experience your wild and precious life in Paris!
We will be outdoors much of the time, whether we are exploring, eating or simply being. We’ll walk nearly everywhere logging thousands of steps a day, along with taking advantage of the metro and buses, just like native Parisians.
You’ll see so much but it will feel expansive and relaxing, with plenty of time to reflect and soak in the beauty. And you will savor so many marvelous treats! Macarons, croissants, meringue, cheese, wine, bread, chocolate, crepes, fresh local fruit - it will be a feast for your senses!
Come experience one of the most iconic European cities from a local’s point of view. You won’t be touring Paris; you’ll be immersed and enjoying it as a native would. Melanie knows how to approach even the most popular places from a unique angle so that you won’t be bumping up with crowds but instead basking in the beauty from a perfect vantage point.
Here’s a sample itinerary of what’s in store for you:
Opening toast with fine French champagne - you’ll taste the difference!
Garden walk and intention setting
Welcome dinner at Ile, a gorgeous restaurant in a pastoral park on an island in the Seine
Bicycling in the Queen’s Garden at the Palace of Versailles

Painting under the linden trees at the Island of the Swans with a view of the Eiffel Tower
Admiring Impressionist art
Wandering along the ancient walls of the city and exploring old neighborhoods, catching views of the Eiffel Tower as we go
Time to rest and dream
Practicing French conversation and cooking with Parisians at dinner
Sample and shop for the local fares at the neighborhood farmers’ market
Boating on the Seine and outdoor lunch beside the river
Yoga in the gardens of the Louvre
Dinner outdoors in a Parisian bistro with live music
Refreshing morning walk and meditation in the park
Indulgent Turkish baths
Gathering herbs for tea and reflecting in the secret garden known only to Parisians
Dinner, wine appreciation and cheese tasting with local Parisian family
Following in the footsteps of Amelie in Montmartre

Final morning garden meditation walk and closing
Throughout the retreat there will be dreaming and visioning and coaching and magic!
You will be staying in a hip, fun, air-conditioned apartment hotel in the west side of the city, very close to a pastoral park where we will be able to practice meditation and yoga at the beginning or end of the day, or simply take a walk to immerse in nature and discover the fairy forests of France. Beautiful rooftop bar, restaurant and terrace for gathering are all on site. Rooms are shared with one or two other guests making this a group experience that will give you friends for life!
Total Retreat Cost: $3400
Includes all lodging, continental breakfasts, snacks, three Parisian dining experiences, all activities listed above, transportation to group events during the retreat and many surprises! Airfare, ground transport to hotel and some meals not included.
This will be a cozy, intimate group-- less than 8 women, so plenty of ease in travel and ability to be responsive in the moment to the magic that arises!
Trip dates: June 24-30, 2019.
