Valentine's Herbal Treats and Self-care workshop

Come enjoy a special day to pamper yourself and make herbal Valentine treats with Carla Robertson and Melanie Hardy, as you discover some fun and delicious ways to care for yourself while learning about the magical power of herbs and flowers.

You'll make and take home: a "bath tea" sachet to create a deluxe bathing experience, a homemade scented herbal hand and body butter, and delicious handmade healthy coconut cocoa vegan truffles. Indulge yourself or share them with someone special on Valentine's Day! We'll also focus on self-care and self-empowerment. Any good relationship comes from a foundation of love and affection for one's self. Carla will share tools to help us reconnect with what we love most about our wise beautiful selves. Whether you're in a committed relationship or not makes no difference - this is a day to take care of you!

We'll also enjoy specialty homemade herbal teas and other treats and a light and delicious lunch.

Cost is $60 per person and the workshop is from 10 to 2 on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

About Melanie:

Melanie Hardy is a French native who has studied herbalism in North Carolina as well as locally, and has taken and organized Permaculture Design and teacher courses. She practices sustainable gardening, is a certified Seva Yoga instructor, a vegan home chef, a New Orleans tour guide, a professional tourist and is simmering a new site where you can sign up for her workshops and retreats (in France and nearby) that include all that and more! She is also available for teaching private herbal gift making workshops.

About Carla: Carla is a certified master life coach and lover of all things outdoors. She’s happiest when she’s in the woods, exploring and connecting with trees and animals in nature. She loves spending time in her tropical NOLA yard with her husband and two cats, or out enjoying one of the myriad festivals and celebrations, or wandering the mysterious moss covered bayous. She loves helping her clients figure out what they really want to do and then do it.
