Herbal Gift Making and Empowering Intuition Workshop

Come enjoy a mid morning tea and herbal gift making workshop with Carla Robertson and Melanie Hardy, as you discover some simple ways to make your own salves, herbal syrups for homemade gift making and get acquainted with your inner healer.

Gift giving can be stressful not only because it gets expensive but also because there is no need for more "stuff" around the house. In this course you will see that homemade gifts don't have to involve anything but your own powerful intuition paired with nature's gifts.

You will make and you will take home:

- A pocket sized herbal salve: Melanie will provide her favorite recipe for an all around skin salve for insect bites, minor cuts and dry feet.

- A 4 Oz bottle of elderberry syrup-- a plant that grows wild all around the city and often cut down as a weed.

We will also get to enjoy some herbal teas and treats and get to know some herbs a bit more intimately as well as learn to make medicinal strength teas and (re) discover our intuitive healing powers.

Carla will lead us in some intuitive, self discovery exercises that will be dispersed throughout our morning of learning, making and fun!

Light healthy refreshments will be served, and other surprise treats will be included!

Warning: You will be hooked and will become an herb enthusiast after this class!

About Melanie: Melanie Hardy is a French native who has studied herbalism in North Carolina as well as locally, and has taken and organized Permaculture Design and teacher courses. She practices sustainable gardening, is a certified Seva Yoga instructor, a vegan home chef, a New Orleans tour guide, a professional tourist and is simmering a new site where you can sign up for her workshops and retreats (in France and nearby) that include all that and more! She is also available for teaching private herbal gift making workshops.

About Carla: Carla is a certified master life coach and lover of all things outdoors.  She’s happiest when she’s in the woods, exploring and connecting with trees and animals in nature. She loves spending time in her tropical NOLA yard with her husband and two cats, or out enjoying one of the myriad festivals and celebrations, or wandering the mysterious moss covered bayous.  She loves helping her clients figure out what they really want to do and then do it.
